Explosion-proof street lights are divided into: explosion-proof type d IIB level, d IIC level; increased safety type e II level. Applicable temperature range T2, T3, T4, T6, according to the explosion-proof area, choose different explosion-proof grades and corresponding temperature group grades of explosion-proof street lights.
Because most of the explosion-proof street lights are installed outdoors, it is very important when choosing explosion-proof street lights. First of all, the explosion-proof lamp holders and explosion-proof electrical boxes must reach the explosion-proof level.
The protection level must reach (IP) 54 or higher, the anti-corrosion level (WF) level 1 or higher, and the insulation level must be level 1.
Finally, a ground wire needs to be connected to the ground terminal outside the ballast.
The scope of use when metal halide lamps and sodium lamps are equipped with explosion-proof street lamps. Generally, the light emitted by metal halide lamps is white light and is mostly used in areas with less fog, while the light emitted by high-pressure sodium lamps is yellow light and is mostly used in foggy urban areas.
